In addition to his work as a performer, Jamie Campbell is an award-winning writer for the stage and screen.

He began his writing career in Chicago, where he studied in The Second City's core writing program. Hundreds of his comedy sketches have been produced on stages throughout the United States, and his work as a playwright garnered some early recognition, including top honors at StageLeft's Drekfest for his play A Fist Before Dying and the Broadway World award for "Best New Work" in Chicago Theatre as co-writer of the musical four play

Jamie has recently shifted his focus to writing for the screen.  He began as a staff writer for the cult-favorite webseries
Lunch and Learn, which has been viewed millions of times online, and his dark thriller script Mourning Sickness was produced by V-Pac Productions in the United Kingdom in 2023.

His short screenplay, Dead, Baby recently took first prize in the horror category at the
26th annual Fade In Awards, and his comedy pilot, Gary Wakes Up, won "Best Pilot" at the Lit Laughs International Comedy Film Festival

Earlier this year, Jamie's script Sneakerhead was named the
Grand Prize winner of the Dallas International Film Festival. The screenplay is now in pre-production and will be helmed by renowned director Johnathan Brownlee of Torfoot Studios.

His feature screenplay, Call Me Thor, has received numerous accolades.  It was the inaugural winner of the "Best International Feature Screenplay" award at the
Comox Valley International Film Festival.  It also took top prize at the Simply Indie Film Fest, The Sunny Side Up Film Festival, and the Bull City International Film Festival. The screenplay was a finalist for the London International Story Prize, took 2nd Prize in the Drama category at the 26th Annual Fade In Awards, and was a second round selection for the Sundance Institute's development track.  The screenplay is currently available for production.
